WORLD AWARDS are part of the global initiative Men’s World Day which is based on social, humanitarian and philanthropic principles and supports the causes of peace, freedom and tolerance throughout the world in order to change the attitudes, the image and the role of men in society. War and violence are still the domains of men and it is therefore our goal to change the attitudes of men. Every year the WORLD AWARDS are presented to individuals who have had a positive impact on our world.
Men Against Violence. On Men’s World Day 2001 the initiative ”Men Against Violence“ was established. It is intended to provide a platform for people to work together in order to propagate freedom and demonstrate resolve against violence and terror and, through international campaigns, promote the cause of peace throughout the world.
War in Iraq. Violence can never be the solution to any problem. In light of the recent war in Iraq and continued conflicts in the Middle East, this initiative has become more relevant than ever. The World Awards helps people around the world become more aware.
World Peace Conference. The current world situation is the reason that the fourth annual World Awards in Hamburg will include a WORLD PEACE CONFERENCE at the City Hall.
